Now it's available to listen to Party Ben's brand-new mix.
This is a superb one, such as a number of tracks or a filler between the two tracks and so on, the mix is including some of the latest mash-ups we have listen to it yet.
So I've been listening to this since weekend, I love the mash-up in particular which was mixed Radiohead's Just with Jurassic 5.

[Video Mash-Up] Eminem VS. Fellini

One of the great movie directors Federico Fellini meets hip-hop stars Eminem.
This is a mash-up of Fellini's masterpiece 8 1/2 with Eminem's "Lose Yourself", hence 8 1/2 Mile. The picture on this video is clear and beautiful, however, if you haven't seen 8 1/2, that's quite boring stuff.


あの名画「道」をつくった偉大なる映画監督フェリーニが、
ヒップホップスターのエミネムに出会う。

それは、フェリーニの「8 1/2」という映画に、
エミネム主演の映画「8 mile」の挿入歌"Lose Yourself"を
ブレンドさせた、タイトル「8 1/2 Mile」。

映像が鮮明で美しく、かなりの懇親の作品であるのですが、
フェリーニ映画を見たことない人には、退屈かもしれません。

[Mash-Up Mix] Radio1 Blue Room GHP Mix

A new Go Home Productions mix aired on the Rob da Bank 'Blue Room' show on Radio 1 last weekend, and is now available for a short time as an mp3 download. Acoording to GHP's website, the mix seemed to go down very well with lots of new listeners, Rob da Bank praising the mix as being one of the best in the show's 5 year run.

Also, As stated before, Go Home Productions has just been confirmed for Sonarsound Tokyo 2006. Most Japanese mash-up fans will definitely be looking forward to seeing him.

偉大なるブートレガーGo Home Productionsの最新マッシュアップ・ミックスは、イギリス国営ラジオ放送BBCの番組用に制作された20分のスペシャル版。
GHPも相当気合いの入ったミックスは、もちろん素晴らしい出来です。
ジャケットも非常にこっていますね。

ちなみに、GHPは、以前にもお伝えしたように、秋になんと日本に来日、
De La Soul等と共に、恵比寿で行われるSonarsound Tokyo 2006に
出演します。これは、すごい快挙だと思うんですが。。。

[Mash-Up] Gnarls Barkley VS. Donna Summer

There is another "Crazy" mash-up again.
Party Ben has released his lattest one "I Feel Crazy", mixed Gnarls Barkly and Donna Summer, on the website. This is a fleshed-out version of something first heard in his mix for XFM's The Rinse.
Between Ben's one and their ones I've introduced on this blog so far are different in that Ben seems to think of the clubs. Anyway, we might feel higher and crazy, while listening to this.


またまたまた、Gnarls Barklyの"Crazy"マッシュアップの登場です。
今回はマッシュアップ・シーンの大御所Party Benのものですが、
これは以前に紹介した彼のXFM's The Rinseというミックスに
入っているものを多少変えたような気がします。

このマッシュアップは、これまで紹介したものとは異なり
けっこうフロアを意識したようなつくりで、DJの方々にはけっこうお勧め。
まさに、I feel crazyなマッシュアップです。

[Mash-Up] Lily Allen VS. Woody Woodpecker VS. Sandie Shaw VS. Meat Katie

It is just an interesting tune I met last week.
In other words, I couldn't currently listen to much mash-ups, because I'm a little bit busy now.

Lily Allen, who has lately attracted considerable attention in the UK, is mixed Sandie Shaw, Meat Katie and an animated cartoon character "Woody Woodpecker".

It's made very cleverly and comes up with various ideas to make the mash-up pleasant to listen to.



最近、忙しくてあまりマッシュアップ聴けてないのですが、
そんな数少ない中で、けっこう光っていた作品。

Lily Allenという、いまイギリスで騒がれているデビューしたて、
21歳の女性シンガーの曲に、Sandie ShawやMeat Katie、
そしてアニメでもお馴染みのWoody Woodpeckerをブレンド。

巧妙且つ巧みにマッシュアップされていて、聴いていても面白いし、
すごくクオリティの高い作品かと思います。

以前、このブログでも紹介したCCCによる
ストーンズ・イギー・クリーム・ドアーズ・レディオヘッドという
偉大なるミュージシャン達を総括させたマッシュアップ"Lust Train"の
ビデオマッシュアップ。

これだけのアーティストがブレンドされているので、
ビデオも見ていて飽きません。最初の方にTrainspottingの映像が
出てくるのが泣けてきます。

[Video Mash-Up] Fatboy Slim VS. Yuzo Kayama

This is another video mash-up of Fatboy Slim.
Ghostdog, a VJ team in Japan, made a video mash-up which mixed the Fatboy Slim's track with Japanese old movie "Ereki no Waka Daisyo (A Young Boss with the Electric Guitar)" starring Yuzo Kayama, a old famous movie star in Japan.

It was fun that grandmother danced happily and amazing that Yuzo Kayama's hit song "Yozora no Hoshi(Stars in the Night Sky)" met Fatboy Slim's dance tune.


前回に引き続き、Fatboy Slimのビデオマッシュアップ。
今回は、大阪で活躍するVJユニットGhostdogによる、
加山雄三の代表作「エレキの若大将」を使ったもの。

お婆ちゃんの可愛らしいダンスと、加山雄三の代表作でもある
「夜空の星」とのマッシュアップがたまらなく良い！
馬鹿らしくもありながら、音と映像の絶妙なコラボレーションが
とても上手いですね。

It's interesting stuff for me.

This is mixed "Love Shack", standard stuff of mash-ups, with EZ Rollers's "Walk This Land" which is included the soundtrack "Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels".
In my opinion, this mash-up harmonizes well and I like it.
Do you agree me?



なかなか面白いマッシュアップ。
最早定番のネタとなったThe B-52'sの"Love Shack"と、
映画「Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels」に収録されている
お洒落ドラムンベース、EZ Rollersの"Walk This Land"とのブレンド。

個人的には、けっこう上手く調和していて好きなんですが。

Here comes another mash-up of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy".
It's mixed The Raconteurs, a member of The White Stripestake "Jack White"takes part in the band, "Steady as She Goes" with Grandmaster Flash's stuff.
This is a wonderful stuff I've heard among mash-ups of "Crazy".



今回は、共にフジロック06に出演する注目バンド同士のマッシュアップ。
これでもかというくらい、マッシュアップが誕生する
今年のMash-Upの定番となったGnarls Barkleyの"Crazy"に、
White Stripesのジャック・ホワイトが率いるガレージバンド、
The Raconteursの"Steady as She Goes"とのブレンド。
時々、Grandmaster Flashも聞こえてきますね。

Gnarls Barkleyのマッシュアップの中でもかなりの良い出来かと思います。
フジロック前に必ず聴いておきたいマッシュアップです。

A sentimental stuff from one of the great bootleggers "Arty Fufkin" that slips the Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" under Thom Yorke's vocals from the moody "Exit Music (For a Film)" then drops in a line or two from The Beatles's "Norwegian Wood."
It's very beautiful but somehow this makes me feel sad.


ここ最近、個人的に注目しているブートレガー"Arty Fufkin"の
なんとも情緒的なマッシュアップ。
Chris Isaakの名曲"Wicked Game"に、
RadioHeadの"Exit Music (For a Film)"、
そしてオマケにビートルズの"Norwegian Wood"までもブレンド。
とても美しく素晴らしいのですが、
なぜだかとても悲しくなります。

Party Ben has released his brand-new dj-mix which was made for James Hyman's Rinse Show on XFM London.
According to Ben, "James Hyman, proprietor of XFM/London's long-running Rinse program on Friday & Saturday nights, asked me to do an hour mix for him recently which I took as an opportunity to indulge my electro/hyphy/Baltimore/disco-dancey obsessions. It's mostly new creations including a few classics towards the end."
It's an amazing mix and very nice.

ロンドンのラジオ局XFM用につくられた約1時間のミックス。
これは、昨日XFMの"The Rinse"という番組のためにつくられたもの。
Sixx Mixxのロック＆マッシュアップな感じとは打ってかわって、
こちらはかなりエレクトロな音源が多用されています。
かなり格好良いです。
