[Mash-Up] Run DMC VS. Lack of Afro

DJ Riko's new stuff is awesome! It mixed Run DMC's "My Adidas" with Breakbeats Funk tune "Roderigo" by Lack of Afro, who belongs to Freestyle Records. The fusion of Hip-Hop and Funk. This is one of the best mash-ups I listened to in March.


DJ Rikoの新作がヤバイです。　Run DMCの「My Adidas」に、Breakbeats Recordsのホープ、Lack of Afroの「Roderigo」をブレンド。まさに、ファンクとヒップホップのマッシュアップ。今月はあまり良いネタがなかったんですが、これはベストの１つに入りそうです。
ちなみに、スラングが入ったexplicit versionと、お母さんも安心のclean version、２種類の異なるバージョンがダウンロードできます。

Last Friday, Osymyso and Go home Production's mixes were broadcasted on 6 Music/6 Mix, BBC Radio 6. It was just Comic Relief and Red Nose last Friday, you will be able to listen to their comic and mash-up mixes within this Friday.

They have came back here again. After the projects of Prodigy Remixed and Chemical Brothers Remixed, they've got together GYBO's finest to make another remix album. This time is using LCD Soundsystem's new album, which released last week.You will find that this album is defenitely marvelous one when you look at a tracklisting.

This album is free to download, but the remix team would request that you donate to oxfam or nordoff-robbins music therapy if you like this one. Also, they want you to buy their original album, sounds of silver.

Party Ben has updated his website and relased his new stuff. The track, it mixed the Star Wars theme with Public Enemy and EW&F, comes from recent live sets at Booties LA and SF. This one is super duper stuff. I really love it. That's ace!


Party Benが、久しぶりに新作をリリース。と言っても、年明けにリリースされたDJ mixの中に収録されていたスターウォーズネタのマッシュアップをシングルカット。お馴染みのテーマソングに、Public Enemyのヴォーカルをのせ、途中にはEarthもチラッと楽しめる傑作。バカバカしくてカッコイイ、彼らしいネタです。

Cheekyboy has released his new tune since this morning. It mixed Damon Albarn's different band songs, "Beetlebum by Blur" vs "Dirty Harry by Gorillaz". Nobody has tried to make this matching, though anyone might have been come up with an idea. Anyway, it's good stuff.


Cheekyboyが本日リリースした最新マッシュアップは、どちらもDamon Albarnがボーカルを務める２アーティストの組み合わせ。Blurの"Beetlebum"に、Gorillazの"Dirty Harry"をブレンドしています。誰もが思いつきそうで、実行しなかったこの組み合わせは、なかなか面白いネタに仕上がっています。

This is the nice mash-up of my favorite rock band "The Fratellis", which is also popular with the young in Britain.
It mixed their hit tune "Flathead", which is used as tvad one of Apple iPod, with Marilyn Manson.

Pilchard has released his new stuff "Rita Got Loaded".
It mixed "Lovely Rita" by the Beatles with my favorite song "Loaded" by Primal Scream. It gives an effect of relax.
This one is one of the best tunes I have listened to recently.

Pilchardの新作は、ビートルズの「Lovely Rita」と、
プライマルの「Loaded」を組み合わせた優秀作。
ダビーな感じが、たまらなく良い味を出しています。
