Team9, an Australia's greatest bootlegger, has released new stuff. It mixed Digitalism's "Zdarlight (Discodrome edition)" with Beatles's great song "Back in the USSR". You can get the radio edit and extended ver. There are lots of Digitalism's mash-ups in the world but this one is one of the best ones, i think.

[Event] Shokkaboy gonna Japan

Shokkaboy a.k.a. Fujikato, from Berlin, is going to Japan again in May and playing djing at superb parties on Saturday 12th, 19th May.
He just visited Japan this January but he seems that he has been eager for coming back since he left Japan. This time, he plays djing in Shibuya and Shinjuku. Both parties will be really awesome, in particular the party in Shinjuku "Minors Holiday Cafe". This party is popular among Japanese young people who is in music and some of the greatest DJs, such as Yasuharu Konishi (ex Pizzicato Five) in Japan is going to play there.
If you are in Japan then, go there and catch them.



今年１月に来日したFujikatoことShokkaboyが来月、再来日し素晴らしい２つのイベントに出演することとなりました。
今回の来日は、本人の強い希望によって実現したもので、５月１２日に渋谷で、１９日には新宿でのイベントにそれぞれ出演します。
１２日は、渋谷ラッシュでの特別イベント「The Mother Funkerz」に出演、日本を代表するマッシュアップユニットであり、Shokkaboyの盟友でもあるMM28に加え、期待の新人エレクトロックバンド「Reloaded 21 Film」のライブアクトが行われるとのこと。
１９日は、新宿otoの人気イベントの１つ「Minors Holiday Cafe」８周年記念イベントのゲストとして出演。元ピチカートファイブの小西康陽さんや元シアターブルックの吉沢dynamite.jpさんらも出演予定。
どちらも、本当にすごそうなイベントになること間違いなしなので、是非とも足を運んでください。

[My mix] iGot Mix in April 2007

I just finished making my latest mix.
Mainly, it consisted of my favorite electro trucks plus some mash-ups I introduced before and a few mash-ups I made. Also, I played these stuff at the clubs frequently.
This time I selected several remix tunes. In my opinion, these remixes are greater than original stuff. In particular,
Missy's "We Run This" remixed by Duke Dumont is awesome!!

個人的にいま最も好きな音を詰め込みました。主にエレクトロが多いですが、ここでも紹介したマッシュアップに加え、このために制作した２つのマッシュアップもミックスしました。
また、今回はリミックスネタが豊富になってます最近のリミックスはオリジナルを上回るほどの良い出来の作品が多く、特にMissy Elliotの「We Run This」をDuke Dumontがリミックスしたものなど、本当に感動的な出来映えだと思っています。

[Mash-Up] Bjork VS. Massive Attack

This mash-up made by "the hOmOgEnIc", from Germany, is a very psychedelic one. It mixed Bjork's "Hidden Place" with Massive Attack's mellow track "Teardrop (Dub remix)". Not collapsing the mood, he've completed the great mash-up.

[Video Mash-Up] Depeche Mode VS. Nouvelle Vague

Alpha1999 made the video mash-up of Copycat's good stuff "Ever fallen in love with a martyr?", which mixed Depeche Mode "Martyr"with Nouvelle Vague "Ever fallen in love" plus
adding the essence of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy".
The video mash-up doesn't seem to use MVs of the source but use a minor American picture. It was worked out very well.

ビデオマッシュアップとしては珍しく、元ネタとなったMVを使わずに、二流っぽいアメリカンな映画のワンシーンを使って、完成させており、とてもよく練り込まれて作られています。
