[iGot iMix #01] Sounds for 2008

　　


This is my latest dj-mix which focuses on stuff that will be a great hit this year. In 2008, firstly, I think the early 1990's sounds such as Italo disco, Euro disco will revive. Crazy Forg's appearance would be the sign of the revival.
Also, I suppose "We are Terrorists" and "Blamma! Blamma!", the new generation artists which have not signed any lavels, may be possibly hit markers.
Finally, it is quite possible that last year's remarkable bands such as "La Priset", "Late Of The Pier", "Asobi Seksu" and "The Teenagers" will be a smash.
So, this is the mix with a mixture of my expectation and anticipation.

2008年一発目のミックスは、今年流行するであろうサウンドを集めてみました。　個人的には、今年は80年代後半から90年代前半のイタロディスコやユーロディスコ（ユーロビート）のようなジャンルが来ると思っています。　また、"We are Terrorists" や"Blamma! Blamma!"といったまだレーベルと契約していないような隠れたアーティストも、今年はアタるような気がします。さらに、"La Priset"、 "Late Of The Pier"、 "Asobi Seksu"、 "The Teenagers"など、昨年火が付き始めたバンドも、今年辺り一気にヒットするのではと睨んでいます。というわけで、期待と予想が入り交じったミックスになっています。　よかったら、聞いてみてください。

This makes DJ's stule change completely. We don't need to bring any stuff to the clubs. There will be no decks and CDJs, and just a compact machine "Pacemaker". The future DJs may have no records CDs in their room.

It seems to be complicated system and might be quite difficult to understand how to use. The price is €520(without tax) and it will start shipping in February.

I can imagine you might be fed up listening to the stuff of "Stand By Me". But this is really good stuff by Copycat, comes from Sweden. He mixed Hot Chip's new single "Ready For the Floor" with King's "Stand By me". It is a great combination and qutie new style. It must be also ready for the floor.

As same as the last year, there is the continuous mix on the Bootie Blog based on the hits of mashups in 2007.
